Saturday morning, September 16. In
the morning around 100 WW2 military vehicles gather at the Ginkel heath to honour the
British para-troops who jumped at this place in 1944. Their aim was to
conquer the Rhine-bridge at Arnhem as part of Operation Market Garden.
Unfortunately the Allied ground forces failed to reach Arnhem in time. The
British and Polish paras were defeated. The respect and memories remain.
We remember them! Every year......in September.
